Currently looking for a Mechanic / Fabricator with a very high mechanical aptitude. Measuring, cutting, drilling, fabricating, welding and basic vehicle mechanic skills are a must.
On top of having your own tools, experience custom wiring, reading schematics & wiring diagrams and blueprints or CAD drawings are required. Building templates and other fabrication tools are necessary. Welding and body work skills and interior fabrication skills are a plus. Trade school experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities of the Diesel Technician / Mechanic Fabricator position include:

Fabricates and assembles structural metal products such as truck bodies using hand and power tools.

Assembles and attaches all accessories to truck bed or custom cabinet fabrications.

Wire all electronic components, assemble wiring harnesses, and trouble-shoot any repairs.
Qualification required for the Diesel Technician / Mechanic Fabricator position include:

Ability to use hand and power tools, read tape measure and blueprints, work on multiple projects at a time, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Previous electrical and wiring harness experience required.

Must have previous hydraulic & electrical experience. This includes troubleshooting and installation experience.

Own tools based on experience are required

Ability to see the “whole” picture as you fabricate a truck build is essential.

Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to walk a client through any difficulties they are having operating the accessories or trouble-shooting any problems.

Current Utah driver license and an acceptable driving record is required. A CDL license is a plus
